Hi 👋🏼 it’s me Lauren and here’s the SparksNotes version (lol anyone remember relying on this? 😅) of the last 3 years since I graduated …

> chapter 1 : freshman year college me created a free blog & started writing random things on it

> chapter 2 : year later and I quit it but started having second guesses about becoming a teacher & wanted to pursue pediatrics. Ended up sticking it out

> chapter 3 : third & final year of college I created a fitness Instagram as I started getting more serious about lifting

> chapter 4 : quit that too when I graduated & moved back home

> chapter 5 : couldn’t get a job & ended up subbing for a year when Covid hit

> chapter 6 : middle of that year I got even more serious with my fitness & helping others that I got my blog back & started a new Instagram (this one) to create my coaching business

> chapter 7 : landed my dream job last year & continued to build my client roster in the middle of the pandemic

> chapter 8 : really questioning how long I want to teach after growing my business bigger + launched a podcast + partnering with more brands

> chapter 9 : bought a house, a dog, and now engaged all with my best friend 🥺

> chapter 10 : to be continued …

Moral of the story?

God keeps pivoting you back to where you’re called

I kept quitting & rethinking all of the decisions that had to do with fitness and content creation along the way but they kept creeping back & now it is my second full time job

There’s a lot of things I’ve messed up on and I’ve had lots of self doubt (and still do) along the way but I wouldn’t have changed a thing

Thank you to everyone of you who has watched me grow, shared content, hyped me up, or invested in yourself and trusted me to help you in your own journey

I truly believe this year is one that will be a big chapter in this book.

My rules for 2022 to become a better version of who I am ⤵️

- read 45 minutes everyday
- Outdoor walks 5 times a week
- Eat less processed foods
- Journal everyday
- Romanticize everyday mundane things
- Never go to bed with a messy kitchen
- Only follow people who inspire, motivate, or educate me
- Drink 100 ounces or more of water a day
- Commit to myself and believe so whole heartedly so I stop standing in my own way
